We at SECONTRADE aim to make our online trading platform user-friendly and to respond quickly to the needs of our customers and the market. This is the only way we can return waste, secondary raw materials and high-quality recyclables to the economic cycle as quickly and easily as possible and find new customers for them.
Simple Trading of Valuable Materials
In autumn 2022, we expanded our portfolio to include biogenic residues, wood waste, and construction waste. In this sector, by-products and fractions that have reached the end of waste are increasingly being offered and in higher demand. We have responded to specific requests by making the trading of these materials, such as compost, recycled wood, recycled construction materials, or construction components, more accessible.
Extension for a broader target group
Our certificate management, which is based on the European EWC codes, is not applied when the raw material status “product/by-product/end-of-waste” is selected. This allows for particularly easy trading of quality recyclables. This means that products and by-products, as well as raw materials that fulfil the end-of-waste criteria, can now be traded. The obligation to provide evidence of the relevant authorisations and certificates under waste legislation is therefore restricted. This approach attracts a larger group of suppliers and buyers, benefiting from the enormous potential of recycling these materials.
